Dr. Louis Petrie

Dr. Petrie earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the renowned University of Southern California. Louis first applied his craft in geriatrics and long-term care, eventually becoming the director of consulting services for two national long-term care pharmacy chains. Eager to take advantage of fledgling internet opportunities in healthcare and new media, Dr. Petrie expanded his activities in the pharmaceutical space by launching Hybrid Health Technologies; a company specialized in developing content and technology platforms for disease management outreach programs in the pharmaceutical sector.
Dr. Petrie and his wife Arezou Petrie launched Parkview Compounding Pharmacy in the Inland Empire in 2005 and within only three years was instrumental in having it become the 26th pharmacy in the U.S. accredited by the Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board (PCAB). The pharmacy received its second accreditation in 2012 and third in 2015. Today, he remains involved in the senior administrative functions of Parkview and provides education for physicians seeking compound services and acting as Parkview’s Director of Clinical Research on phase IV projects focused of the conversion of legend medications to over the counter usage.
In 2007, Louis and Arezou formed Advantage Vaccination Service with the vision was to create a comprehensive center to promote travel and health vaccinations. Today, as Director, he supports Advantage as it services travelers, patients, heathcare professionals, IPA’s and the military for their travel health and general immunization needs. In 2011, he received the prestigious Certificate in Travel Health (CTH) from the International Society of Travel Medicine (ISTM), one of a few award to pharmacists throughout the world.
